El Gobierno argentino decidió la estatización de la empresa Vicentin ante las deudas generadas en el último tiempo
El presidente Alberto Fernández anunció que el Estado nacional intervino a la exportadora de cereales Vicentin, en el contexto de un proyecto dinamizador de alimentos. El mandatario, que hizo referencia varias veces a la soberanía alimentaria del país, también comunicó que el Gobierno buscará expropiar los activos de la empresa mediante una ley que enviará al Congreso. De esos activos se haría cargo YPF Agro, dijo Fernández. “El Estado es el principal acreedor de la empresa. La vamos a rescatar, es una empresa líder para que continúa funcionando y sus trabajadores tenga la tranquilidad de seguir trabajando, lo mismos que los productores que le venden lo que producen”, aseguró el presidente y agregó que se declarará a la empresa de interés público. Gabriel Delgado, un economista del INTA de mucha confianza de Fernández, es el interventor en la compañía. Es un ex secretario de Agricultura que sonó para ser ministro casi hasta último momento en el que fue elegido Luis Basterra. “Si hay evidencias de defraudación se harán las denuncias del acaso y lo llevaremos a la Justicia, pero queremos mantener en pie a una empresa muy importante”, aseguró el mandatario sobre versiones de la conducción privada de la compañía. La administración pública nacional tomaría el control de, 51% de la compañía que se encuentra en concurso de acreedores como consecuencia de la deuda por USD 350 millones que tiene la empresa con el estatal Banco Nación, sobre una acreencia total de USD 1.350 millones. “Este es un tema que venimos trabajando desde hace días con la senadora Anabel, mi amiga, y con Matías Kulfas, trabajaron entre ellos a partir de una idea de Anabel, la idea de la intervención y de la expropiación del grupo. Con lo cual les estoy anunciando acá en este instante que estamos mandando al Congreso una ley de expropiación del grupo Vicentín para que el estado nacional se haga cargo. Todos los activos del grupo Vicentín pasarán a formar parte de un fondo fiduciario y que le encomendaremos la gestión a YPF AGRO”, detalló el presidente. La referencia fue para la senadora Anabel Fernández Sagasti, también presente en la conferencia de presa quien aseguró: “Es una excelente noticia para todos los argentinos la decisión de poder rescatar a esta empresa que tiene que ver con la soberanía alimentaria de todos los argentinos. Así que por supuesto dispuesta a colaborar desde el Senado para que la ley que envíe pueda ser tratada prontamente. Es una herramienta fundamental para el Estado Nacional, una empresa testigo en sobre todo lo que tiene que ver con el mercado de granos y la industria alimenticia tan importante para la Argentina”. Según pudo saber Infobae, el “rescate” de Vicentin tiene tres objetivos: la recuperación y pago de deudas a productores de interior, renegociación con los bancos acreedores y paz social y estabilidad laboral con gremios. Ese ese sentido, el Ejecutivo también podría impulsar leyes destinadas al aumento de la producción agrícola, incentivos a la exportación de proteínas para humanos y fomento de la biotecnología. “Soberanía alimentaria”, fue un concepto en el que el hizo hincapié el presidente, quien destacó que el objetivo es “rescatar a la empresa en favor de la economía argentina y de una parte de la economía que tiene particular relevancia como es el mercado de granos y de cereales”. “Que el Estado cuente con una empresa testigo en el sector es algo muy importante. Es una medida estratégica que favorece a la Argentina para lograr la soberanía alimentaria”, indicó. El pedido de la semana pasada La medida había sido pedida por un grupo de funcionarios, dirigentes políticos e intelectuales se convierta en una empresa pública no estatal “bajo control político y social”. Hace una semana Claudio Lozano, director del Banco Nación; Victoria Donda, titular del Inadi; y Pino Solanas, embajador ante la Unesco encabezaron una carta en donde pedían la nacionalización de la empresa frente a la posibilidad de que las “maniobras fraudulentas” llevadas a cabo por el grupo empresario contra la banca pública, productores y trabajadores, tenga como resultado una mayor concentración y extranjerización del comercio exterior de granos y de la cadena de producción. Aún en concurso de acreedores, la compañía continúa siendo una de las mayores agroexportadoras. Un trabajo de la Bolsa de Cereales de Rosario (BCR) presentado en marzo muestra que se encuentra en el puesto número seis, con 8,4 millones de toneladas exportados o un 9% del total de ventas externas agroindustriales. “Una empresa es los dueños, por más concursada que esté. Esto es todo muy raro”, aseguró una fuente cercana a la empresa, antes del anuncio y antes los rumores que surgieron a primera hora de la tarde. “Los cuatro o cinco ejecutivos importantes de la empresa no sabían nada de nada de esto. La deuda es de USD 1.350 millones, el Banco Nación tiene USD 350 millones, algo parecido de los productores agropecuarios y el resto en bancos privados. La línea de crédito con el Nación tiene 50 años, no fue un préstamo: en los últimos años fue del 5-6% de la facturación, pero la devaluación y el dólar complicaron todo”. “Hoy, la fábrica más importante, la que tiene puerto de exportación, la de San Lorenzo, está trabajando con algunos productores a mitad de la capacidad. La idea era que funcione hasta que hubiera novedades con futuros accionistas, que había propuestas presentadas”, agregaron. Además, Vicentin es socio de la multinacional suiza Glencore en Renova, una empresa productora de biodiésel. Hasta diciembre de 2019, ambas participaban en la firma en partes iguales, pero luego Glencore adquirió un 16,7% adicional y ahora controla dos tercios de las acciones. “Nosotros estamos decretando la intervención para saber qué pasa exactamente dentro del grupo, luego veremos cómo se actúa. Esto es rescatar una empresa que en los tiempos se vienen es significativa”, aseguró Fernández cuando se le preguntó por Glencore
