Bomberos y brigadistas combatieron durante 5 horas incendios en El Parque Nacional El Impenetrable

El intendente del Parque, Leonardo Juber, comentó que desde Parques Nacionales se viene con una semana larga de trabajos en el territorio, tratando de combatir los incendios que se fueron dando en una zona inaccesible del área. “Gracias a la colaboración y el trabajo conjunto con la Provincia, que comenzó el jueves con el sobrevuelo con la secretaria Marta Soneira, se pudo contar con un helicóptero para el operativo realizado este sábado”; y aclaró que los trabajos de prevención y monitoreo van a continuar por el estado de extrema sequía que azota a la región
A través del Plan Provincial de Manejo del Fuego que articula la Secretaría de Desarrollo Territorial y Ambiente a cargo de Marta Soneira, y gracias al trabajo mancomunado con la Administración de Parques Nacionales, la Dirección de Aeronáutica Provincial, Bomberos de la Policía y brigadistas, se pudo extinguir los últimos focos ígneos que se encontraban en una zona inaccesible por vía terrestre del Parque Nacional El Impenetrable.
“Por indicaciones del gobernador de la provincia, Jorge Milton Capitanich, se pudo disponer de aeronaves que permitieron, en primera instancia, sobrevolar la zona para identificar los focos activos, y en segunda, acceder al terreno para iniciar las acciones de mitigación del fuego. Un total de 15 bomberos y brigadistas combatieron durante 5 horas, logrando detener la expansión y contrarrestar el daño que esto ocasiona a la reserva natural”, afirmaron desde la cartera.
El coordinador de la Brigada Operativa Ambiental, Marcelo Churin, detalló que gracias al trabajo intenso se logró desalentar la expansión, llevando a cabo el ataque directo a los focos activos y controles del perímetro, deteniendo así la amenaza que esto ocasionaba al resto del parque. “Gracias al trabajo con el intendente del parque y los distintos informes realizados en forma coordinada con la Oficina de Riesgo Ambiental y Climático de la Secretaría, se pudo establecer esta alerta y actuar de forma inmediata y eficaz”, expresó.
