El gobernador Jorge Capitanich junto al ministro de Industria, Producción y Empleo, Sebastián Liftón, recorrió un predio de siembra de frutillas en la localidad de Makallé. En la oportunidad, destacó la importancia de que los chaqueños puedan tener producir alimentos de calidad y que la producción esté en marcha no sólo por la comercialización, sino porque es un generador de empleo genuino en la provincia.
El Gobierno provincial trabaja en el financiamiento para la puesta en marcha de una central alimentaria, que revestirá un monto de inversión cercano a los 5 millones de dólares. “Queremos tener un sistema de almacenaje, packaging y comercialización que esté a disposición de toda la red de productores”, dijo.
Además, contó que se está trabajando en un acuerdo con la multinacional DANONE, para la producción de 360 mil toneladas de frutillas que ellos destinarán a la aplicación en sus distintos procesos productivos. “Agradecemos a los productores y productoras, como la familia Fortín, que son quienes producen bienes susceptibles de comercialización y generan empleo genuino”, resaltó.
El gobernador insistió en que “la agroindustria va a ser el símbolo de la recuperación económica en la Argentina y la provincia”. “Por eso queremos la central agroalimentaria, además de generar acuerdos con empresas de comercialización. Los productores y productoras pueden contar conmigo para que, desde el Estado, podamos apalancar los procesos de financiamiento”, expresó.
Liftón, por su parte aseguró que hay un muy buen horizonte para los próximos tres o cuatro años respecto a la producción de frutilla en la provincia, “y es por esto que hay que incentivar a los productores y productoras para que logren incrementar las superficies de plantación”, señaló.
Asimismo, el ministro explicó que el aumento de producción durante este años se vio afectado por la pandemia, pero que hay una proyección muy importante para 2021, arrancando entre noviembre y diciembre de 2020, “lo que garantiza un crecimiento sustancial y poder contar con la provisión en tiempo y forma para que cada productor pueda iniciar la comercialización, que muchas veces tiene la ventaja de hacerlo en la localidad y localidades vecinas, sin moverse grandes distancias que generen mayores costos de traslado”, aseguró.
Marcelo Angione, intendente de Makallé aseguró que desde el municipio y en concordancia con el trabajo que se realiza desde la Provincia, se creó una secretaría de agroindustrias “porque estamos convencidos hacia qué norte tenemos que ir”, recuperando el valioso trabajo con el INTA y el ministerio.
El jefe comunal también adelantó que se pondrá en marcha una feria en la localidad donde funcionarán, además, un stand del INTA y una oficina del municipio, para instar a la regularización fiscal de los feriantes. “Queremos que puedan aprovechar las herramientas como la tarjeta alimentaria o el IFE que son una importante inyección de dinero en la localidad y que todo dinero que ingresa con muy buen criterio como fue el del Gobierno nacional sea aprovechado por la mayor cantidad de gente”, manifestó.
“Progresando y aprendiendo”
Silvio y Gustavo Fortín, son productores de la localidad de Makallé, y además de frutilla producen tabaco como actividad principal, mandioca y verduras de hojas. Cuentan en este momento con 3.000 plantas de frutillas y es la segunda vez que realizan este cultivo. “Estamos progresando y aprendiendo, hacemos la venta local pero también tenemos compradores que nos piden desde distintas localidades, aunque aún nos manejamos en el mercado local para no incrementar los gastos. Esperamos que luego de la pandemia, podamos hacer la producción necesaria para DANONE e ir mejorando”, proyectó Gustavo Fortín.
