A más de uno sorprendió la tenacidad con la que la presidente del Poder Legislativo, Élida Cuesta, intentó este miércoles sancionar la intervención del municipio de Castelli que gobierna el intendente justicialista, Oscar Alberto Nievas, sobre quien, es cierto, pesa un pedido de detención por hechos de presunta corrupción.
Se dice que la diputada y cabeza de Poder esperaba contar con los votos necesarios para lograr los dos tercios que requería el tratamiento sobre tablas pero, para su sorpresa, ocurrió lo contrario. Por lo que, el pedido que era de autoría del interbloque Cambiemos, terminó dejando al descubierto las fricciones políticas dentro del bloque legislativo del Frente gobernante; pero también, de cara a las puertas del Ejecutivo, previo a un año electoral en el que cada definición será decisiva para el oficialismo.
En la misma jornada en la que Cuesta intentó a todas voces que se trate el proyecto, el diputado Luis Obeid, del PRO, quien durante la semana había hecho una defensa férrea y mediática al pedido de intervención del Municipio de Castelli por entender que se trataba de un acto de justicia, quitó su firma del proyecto – en un giro de 180º – de la bancada que conforma junto al radicalismo. En el Recinto, luego de la intervención de Cuesta, el legislador del PRO explicó que lo había consultado con varios entendidos del derecho que lo asesoraron al respecto de una acción que no raya lo inconstitucional, sino que es inconstitucional; máxime tratándose de un Parlamento.
Ante la postura de Obeid, Cuesta, con cara de pocos amigos, se refirió a sí misma como una “ignota” en cuestiones jurídicas, atento a esto de la “inconstitucionalidad” de intervenir un municipio en los términos en los que se plantea la situación de Nievas en el marco de la Carta Magna. Pero mantuvo su postura. “Tengo mi dignidad y trayectoria y soy consecuente con mis actos. Es por eso que pedí el tratamiento sobre tablas de esta cuestión”, insistió pero a modo de dar una explicación a sus pares.
“Quiero decir como ciudadana y como integrante de este poder, que quiero dejar el camino libre para que la Justicia investigue”, dijo la diputada; y apuntó fuerte señalando que, “hubiese sido más fácil si el intendente (Nievas) pedía su licencia” y, “si no se hubiese presionado a nadie y hubiese votado y expedido el Concejo”, apuntó.
El día después, además de reconocerse entre pasillos que Cuesta esperaba lograr esos dos tercios para que se intervenga el Municipio y claramente quede detenido su intendente, también salieron al ruedo los jefes comunales justicialistas con la intención de desenmascarar los intereses del espacio político que integra Cuesta y que lidera Gustavo Martínez. “Si tienen un proyecto alternativo u otra identidad, que fijen su postura”, fue el mensaje desde el seno del PJ.
