El periodista Mark Weisbrot sostiene que, a la luz de los resultados, los gobiernos kirchneristas fueron de los más exitosos de occidente
En un artículo de opinión firmado por Mark Weisbrot, el New York Times, uno de los diarios mas importantes de Estados Unidos desmiente rotundamente que los resultados electorales de las PASO hayan sido el detonante de la brutal corrida de la semana pasada.
Allí, Weisbrot, rechazando los argumentos de la primera reacción del Macri de responsabilizar a los votantes por la corrida, aclara que “desde la perspectiva de un economista o un científico social, no está claro el motivo por el cual deberíamos temerle al kirchnerismo”.
«Que el ciclo de Macri esté cerca de terminarse y los rivales lo hayan vencido en las Primarias “no es algo inherentemente negativo para la economía”, de acuerdo con el economista, que define a la herencia del macrismo en materia económica como «un desastre».
Weisbrot explica que los mercados financieros pueden alterarse por muchas razones, y puntualiza que en el caso de Argentina se trata de “la derrota electoral de un gobierno cuyas políticas económicas han fracasado de manera evidente y una victoria para los rivales que provienen de un periodo de crecimiento económico sólido y ampliamente compartido”.
En este apartado, menciona que “si se observan los indicadores económicos y sociales más importantes, los gobiernos de los Kirchner estuvieron entre los más exitosos del hemisferio occidental”.
Por eso afirma tajantemente que “desde la perspectiva de un economista o un científico social, no está claro el motivo por el cual deberíamos temerle al kirchnerismo”.
