El hospital de Quemados no registró heridos desde la tarde de ayer hasta la madrugada de hoy, por primera vez desde hace al menos 38 años, según informó Eduardo Strusi, jefe de guardia de ese centro asistencial.
Y aclaró: “Estamos muy contentos aunque aun falta esperar a ver qué pasa en el transcurso del día y de la semana, ya que a veces llegan pacientes derivados”.
Asimismo, Strusi manifestó que el equipo médico espera que “se mantenga esta tendencia” y adjudicó este resultado nulo de heridos a la “variable económica” y “a la prédica de entidades médicas en contra de la pirotecnia para evitar accidentes”.
“La mayoría de pacientes que atendimos fueron por accidentes domésticos”, explicó el cirujano plástico y dijo: “Ojalá estemos aprendiendo”.
Por último, el jefe de guardia indicó que esperan tener “una estadística completa” de heridos para el fin de semana.
