SE CONFIRMA UN NUEVO CASO DE CORONAVIRUS EN CHACO
El Ministerio de Salud Pública de la Provincia del Chaco informa el resultado positivo de una muestra enviada al Instituto Malbrán de Buenos Aires y la confirmación de un nuevo caso de coronavirus en el territorio provincial.
Se trata de una mujer de 64 años, residente en la ciudad de Resistencia, con contagio por contacto casual con uno de los casos importados, provenientes de zonas de circulación sostenida del COVID-19. En total son 6 los casos positivos en Chaco, uno de ellos falleció en la jornada del viernes 13 de marzo.
La paciente inició con la sintomatología el 7 de marzo y al día 10 de marzo, al presentar dificultad respiratoria, fue internada en una clínica privada. Comenzó con una insuficiencia respiratoria el día 13 de marzo y se encuentra con asistencia respiratoria mecánica en sala de terapia intensiva.
La cartera de Salud informa que 9 de las muestras enviadas a Buenos Aires para su análisis dieron negativas de coronavirus. La provincia sigue a la espera de más resultados de muestras de casos sospechosos de COVID-19 enviadas al Instituto Malbrán de Buenos Aires.
