Tiroteo en EEUU: una mujer asesinó a tres personas y se suicidó
Tres personas murieron este jueves en un tiroteo al norte de la ciudad de Baltimore, en el este de Estados Unidos, en una tragedia perpetrada por una mujer, que engrosa la larga lista de matanzas a bala en el país.
Jeff Gahler, el alguacil del condado de Harford, donde ocurrió el hecho, indicó a la prensa que la sospechosa, de 26 años, era una empleada temporal del depósito donde ocurrió el incidente, que murió tras dispararse en la cabeza. Otras tres personas resultaron heridas.

“No creemos que haya una amenaza adicional para la comunidad del condado de Harford”, afirmó.

Pero las mujeres atacantes representan menos del 5% del total de los casos. En mayo, una activista por los derechos de los animales nacida en Irán mató a tiros a tres personas antes de suicidarse en la sede de YouTube en California.

La autoridad policial dijo que la mujer utilizó una pistola 9 mm con varios cargadores.
Colleen Hendrickson, una vecina del lugar, esperaba su autobús cuando alguien le advirtió que había un tiroteo cerca.
“Habitualmente esto es muy calmado y esto es lo más caótico que yo he visto en toda mi vida”, dijo la testigo a una cadena local, afiliada a CNN.
“Da mucho miedo cuando justo pasa a pasos de tu puerta”, contó.
El gobernador de Maryland, Larry Hogan, expresó su pesar en Twitter.
“Estamos sinceramente agradecidos con la respuesta de las unidades de emergencia que llegaron al lugar en cinco minutos y a todos los refuerzos médicos y de las fuerzas del orden que están ayudando tras este trágico tiroteo”, dijo Hogan.
