Fue en la ruta nacional 16, en inmediaciones de Taco Pozo. El padre era salteño, el pequeño y su madre, chaqueños. Ella sobrevivió y está en grave estado.

Un hombre de 53 años, su esposa y su hijo, de 10, viajaban en una Toyota Hilux cuando chocaron de frente con un camión cargado de rollizos en la ruta nacional 16, a 12 kilómetros de Taco Pozo, sobre el límite con Salta.
Producto del impacto, el hombre y el niño murieron, y la mujer fue trasladada de urgencia a un centro asistencial.
El camión terminó fuera de la ruta, volcado, y con su carga de rollos de algarrobo y quebracho desperdigada.
Peritos del Gabinete Científico y la División Bomberos de la Policía del Chaco, acudieron al lugar y realizaron los primeros relevamientos para determinar la mecánica del siniestro.
